SPANISH WELLS PLANTATION For those individuals who treasure waterfront privacy and tranquility, Spanish Wells Plantation is the answer. A peninsula of 351 acres of single-family homes at the end of Spanish Wells Road where all 200 homesites are one acre or more in size and many face Broad Creek or the open waters of Calibogue Sound and the Intracoastal Waterway.

Spanish Wells Plantation was originally known on old navigational charts by the Spanish Explorers as a primary fresh water source on the South Atlantic Coast. Calibogue is a Yemassee Indian word for "sweet water" and the ancient well is still flowing! Spanish Wells is a very private community with no restaurants, villas or commercial ventures.
